Overhaul

"People hold on to their clutter because they are afraid to let it go - afraid of the emotions they may experience in the process of sorting through the stuff, afraid they will make a mistake and later regret getting rid of something, afraid they will leave themselves vulnerable, exposed or at risk in some way ... Fear stops you being who you truly are and doing what you came here to do; clutter clearing brings you greater clarity about your life purpose. Fear suppresses your vital life force energy; releasing clutter helps reconnect you to your own natural vitality. Letting go of clutter leaves you free to be you, which is the greatest gift you can ever give yourself."

excerpt from the absolutely wonderful little book 'Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui'
by one of my favourite authors and spiritual gurus, Karen Kingston

Spring = Time for a complete overhaul.

  1. Hi Tracy,

I found you on facebook, but can't figure out how to friend you.

I love your clutter quote, and I think I will get the book.

How have you been. My live has been sort of in an upheaval lately, but it's been good. A new grandchild, and the others are growing up so fast.

In the spirit of your quote, I'm going to attack some more clutter. I've been doing it all summer (autumn now in the northern hemisphere). "Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower". I can't remember who said this, but it's great. And I will take this "second spring" to reduce some more clutter in my life.

Glad to hear that things are going well for you. I can imagine the family would be keeping you pretty busy.

Thanks for the quote, it is beautiful. Happy clutter clearing!

    cheers
    Tracy :)
